Say hello
First calls are for listening.
Tell us what you're dealing with and we'll be straight about whether we're the right team to help.
If we are, we'll walk through what we can do.
If we're not, we'll tell you that too.
A note from Sarah, our founder.
I started Nile in 2006 because the organisations that matter most to people’s lives - their bank, their insurer, their pension provider - were building services without understanding the people who had to use them.
Twenty years later, the technology has changed completely, but the problem remains. AI is speeding everything up, but regulated businesses still need someone in the room who asks the difficult questions before the wrong decisions are locked in.
That’s what we do. We keep our consultancy small and expert. That’s intentional. No B-team, no land-and-expand, no dependency by design.
If you’re dealing with a complex business challenge and need an honest conversation about what we can do together.
Designers, strategists, researchers, futurists, AI navigators.
Meet the Nilers – the people brought in when the decision is too important to get wrong and too complex to delegate.
Culture at Nile
We’re best known for solving the problems other consultancies can’t, usually in heavily regulated industries where the challenges are complex, systemic and deeply entrenched.
We’ve been doing it since 2006, and our clients, freelancers and friends have told us they keep coming back for the same reason - the work matches how we actually are: human-centred, inclusive, and set on making progress that means something.
We’re a mix of designers, strategists, researchers, futurists and navigators. We look for people who are skilled and focused but also curious and playful, because that’s the combination that tends to crack a tricky problem.
What holds us together is harder to put on a slide. Most of it is years of shared experience, genuine care for one another, and a lot of trust. We’re a kind, curious and friendly bunch, and proud of it.
A certified B Corp, we hold ourselves to a high standard.
